Apply today and start your career off on the right foot!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Mental Health Services Specialist 1, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of child, adolescent, family, adult, and community mental health services in Blair County. Work includes reviewing and analyzing specific policies as well as evaluating and monitoring services. You will be responsible for interpreting rules, regulations, program policies, and objectives; administering or assisting in administering services; facilitating collaborative meetings; and planning community events. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical assistance to contract providers and participate in program planning, development, implementation, consolidation, and coordination.Bring your dedication and ambition to our department, and make your career aspirations a reality!Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
