Be part of something bigger than yourself and share your clerical skills with our team!DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will join the support staff for our Care Management Unit. Work involves copying, faxing, typing, scanning, and printing documents. Your responsibilities will include typing letters, faxing referrals to service vendors, maintaining a referral log, reviewing weekly vendor status sheets for case manager names, and obtaining financial reports for representative payee consumers. You will distribute reports, vendor status sheets, and faxes to care managers and keep original reports in a representative payee binder.You will also serve as backup for other clerical duties including operating the switchboard to direct incoming phone calls, balancing the daily postage usage in the postage machine, creating a daily list of absent staff members, and distributing incoming mail. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or
  • Any combination of equivalent experience and training.
