Architect with 10 to 12 years of expertise in VxRail AWS EC2 Amazon S3 Nutanix Administration VMware administration and Windows administration. The role involves designing implementing and managing infrastructure solutions that align with our business objectives. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.Responsibilities· Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions using VxRail AWS EC2 and Amazon S3 to meet business requirements.· Oversee the administration and maintenance of Nutanix and VMware environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.· Provide expert-level support for Windows administration ensuring system stability and security.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure strategies that support organizational goals.· Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to maintain high availability and efficiency.· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations processes and procedures.· Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in infrastructure management.· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development.· Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.· Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical systems and data.· Monitor infrastructure performance and implement proactive measures to prevent issues.· Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration and support of infrastructure components.Qualifications· Possess a strong background in VxRail AWS EC2 and Amazon S3 with hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions.· Demonstrate expertise in Nutanix and VMware administration with a proven track record of maintaining high-performance environments.· Exhibit proficiency in Windows administration with a focus on system stability and security.· Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.· Show strong project management skills with experience in leading infrastructure projects to successful completion.· Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.· Have a proactive approach to learning and integrating new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.Certifications Required· AWS Certified Solutions Architect VMware Certified Professional Nutanix Certified Professional#LI-EF1#CB#Ind123Applications will be accepted until 15 Nov 2024.Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $[99,000 – 116,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:· Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance· Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off· 401(k) plan and contributions· Long-term/Short-term Disability· Paid Parental Leave· Employee Stock Purchase Plan
