We are proud to foster a flexible, growth-focused work environment that promotes innovation and professional development.About the Role:As the Finance and Accounting Director, you will oversee comprehensive financial operations, including strategic budgeting, forecasting, and contract management, ensuring compliance with federal regulations. You will collaborate with project teams and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance business growth. This hybrid role allows for remote work while requiring up to 50% in-person presence in Falls Church, VA.What We Seek:We are looking for a candidate with proven expertise in government contracting and consulting services, who can manage financial operations autonomously. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader capable of supporting strategic financial initiatives and fostering company growth. Unanet experience is a must.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including payroll and financial reporting.
• Design and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies.
• Lead as the Unanet system administrator, managing configurations for optimized budgeting and invoicing.
• Oversee vendor and client contract management in compliance with federal guidelines.
• Deliver financial insights that empower project teams to achieve optimal performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• 5 years of experience managing financial operations and leading strategic initiatives.
• Unanet GovCon experience is required.
• Experience in business development helping small businesses grow in the government contracting space.
