Primary job functions will include scheduling work to external artists and overall management of the workflow to insure timely delivery of art to internal and external customers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project creation (data entry) of inline pre-build programs.
  • Follow the line plans and Merch breakouts for data entry and the master calendars for key dates.
  • Review all Seasonal and Event Merch breakouts for accuracy and coordinate with Merch and Production Development
  • Projects will be tracked via multiple sources/systems (Track-IT, Samms, AEM, Smartsheet).
  • Know leagues and team codes.
  • Responsible for scheduling work to external Art groups to build full size art and formats by requested due dates.
  • Ability to read art recipes for art builds and gather the necessary tools.
  • Manage art due dates to meet established service level agreements.
  • Manage contracting budget and write purchase orders.
  • Validate monthly invoices for contractors.
  • Perform digital reviews for all contracted artwork
  • Submit art files via Bridge with proper meta data tagging
  • Perform simple Illustrator edits to maintain efficiency.
  • Keep documentation for contracting workflow, processes and associated reference material up to date.
  • Be the lead for getting bids for new contractors and keeping the pricing structure up to date.
  • Utilize AEM data warehouse for asset storage and utilize proper tagging requirements.
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports to management related to capacity and errors
  • Filesend to external contractors (all Seasonal and Event planned graphic series and TechFit)
  • Perform art hold reviews upon league updates and for Major/Minor art holds.
  • Work with Design, Product Managers, Proofing and Licensing on special projects.
  • Corresponds daily with adidas INDY internal and external partners both verbally and in written form in a timely manner.
  • Act as back up for Production Art Scheduling Coordinator.
  • Ability to use Illustrator for simple art edits, run automation to support format artists and excel for reporting.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong work ethic, quick learner and excited to work with a fast-paced team.
  • Knowledge of internal systems – SAMMS, Creation Portal and Track-It a plus.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task and re-prioritize a must.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written with a high level of professionalism
  • Must be able to take direction well.
  • Be a self starter and a team player with a flexible nature and positive “can do” attitude
  • Knowledge of graphic design and basic Mac or Illustrator skills
  • Knowledge of Licensed Sports teams
  • Ability to work extended hours as business dictates

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business or Minor in art.
  • 1-3 years office and/or project lead experience preferred.
  • Proficiency of Mac and associated software – Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite
