In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end creative process, driving innovative, high-impact designs that define our brand presence across social platforms. Your extensive knowledge of social media, combined with a proven ability to appreciate design, will improve our storytelling and establish us as a leader in visual communication.This is a role for a strategic problem solver who can balance ambitious creativity with business objectives, bringing innovative ideas to life in ways that engage, encourage, and perform.The role is located in the following office locations (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Bellevue, WA) which will align with our in-office working environment.   • Craft and implement: an engaging visual direction for social-first campaigns on multiple platforms, ensuring all content aligns with the brand and achieves desired outcomes.
  • Concept to Implementation: Own the creative process from ideation to delivery, producing world-class assets that set the standard for social content.
  • Trend Leadership: Stay ahead of the curve on social trends, ensuring our creative remains fresh, relevant, and industry-leading.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across marketing, copy, and strategy to deliver cohesive, visually striking campaigns.
  • Data-Driven Design: Apply performance insights to improve creative strategies and achieve maximum impact and engagement.
  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain brand consistency while pushing the boundaries of creative expression.
  • Asset Production: Design a broad range of assets (still images, GIFs, short videos) that are optimized for social media and drive engagement.
  • Innovation & Experimentation: Lead the charge on exploring new formats, tools, and creative approaches to enhance our social-first content strategy.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of proven experience in visual design, art direction, or a related creative field.
  • Social-First Mastery: Demonstrated ability to create exceptional, high-performing content specifically for social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Creativity: Experienced problem solver with a proven ability to deliver innovative and visually impactful designs.
  • Portfolio of Excellence: A compelling portfolio showcasing your ability to craft powerful visual narratives, with a focus on social-first environments.
  • Strategic Approach: Ability to align creative execution with business objectives and apply data to inform and optimize designs.
  • Collaboration at Scale: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach; able to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to design quality, with a focus on excellence in execution.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Able to balance multiple projects, adjusting quickly, and growing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
