Bellevue College’s Department of Art invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Art History to begin in Fall 2022. The department seeks a candidate with expertise in Architecture, Modern, Contemporary, or Non-Western art and the ability to teach general surveys of Western art. Tenure-track faculty are expected to teach, assess, and advise students; participate in department, division, and college-wide governance; engage in ongoing professional development, including equity training.Pay, Benefits & Work ScheduleAnnual salary is based on a 176-day contract with a minimum of $67,712.30; beginning salary will be determined by the assessment of the candidate’s education and related experience. New hires cannot be placed above $72,604.27 unless exceptional circumstances prevail.We offer comprehensive compensation package with salary and benefits as the main components.
