Description: 1Resource Group has a Direct Hire opportunity in Tomball, TX.Overview: The Human Resources Specialist is a professional in the field that will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the HR Department. The main responsibilities include recruiting, responding to employee inquiries, maintain employee records, and serving as a liaison between Mandarin-speaking staff and English-speaking staff.Responsibilities:1. Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using online sources, networking, job fairs, advertisements, staffing firms, or employee referrals.2. Review and evaluate employment application match applicants with job requirements.3. Interview qualified job applicants and make a hiring selection or refer them to managers making hiring recommendations when appropriate.4. Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.5. Coordinate with outside staffing agencies to secure temporary employees, based on departmental needs.6. Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.7. Schedule and conduct new employee orientations.8. Prepare employment documents or perform data entry for events such as hiring, termination, leaves of absents, position/pay changes, etc.9. Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks, directories or various forms,10. Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards or regulations.11. Handle all confidential information with discretion and professionalism.12. Complete any other tasks assigned by management.Requirements· Fluency in English is required.· Highschool diploma or equivalent required.· Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.· At least 2 years of work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist.· Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)· Familiarity with full cycle recruiting.· Fluency in Mandarin is highly desirable, as this position will liaise with legal staff in Southeast Asia.· Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.· Paralegal certification required.Competencies:· Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment and selection.· Solid understanding of Employment Law and appropriate regulations.· Good problem-solving skills.Work Environment:· The work environment for the position includes enclosed offices.Physical Demands:· The physical demands include sitting at a desk for extended periods of time; ability to speak and hear speech, ability to enter text via keyboard into a computer.

Salary: $60000 – 70000 per year
