Description: HBITS-06-13762Daily tasks will include:

  • The candidate will be a guide in maintaining and modernizing our e-MPIRE imaging platforms. This system is responsible for processing different programs which bring in billions of dollars in revenue for local governments and New York State. Its solution allows New York State to facilitate better decision-making, provide increased productivity for employees, improve public access, and reduce the risk of falling victim to outdated technology.
  • The candidate will be a guide member of the imaging team which is responsible for developing the shared services and development code generators that are used by all Department of Tax and Finance Applications which are responsible for bringing in significant revenue to the state of New York.
  • The candidate will be a guide in maintaining our existing e-MPIRE imaging systems. The candidate will need to have extensive knowledge in various technologies such as Content Manager on Demand, AIX Scripting, DB2, and .NET.
  • The candidate must be experienced in multi-tier architecture design and implementations with the ability to participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing.

Systems Architect
Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.Expert 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. * 84 months experience with government organization which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complete Business-Related Processing

  • 84 months of .NET coding experience
  • 84 months of experience in UNIX and AIX OS with usage of Shell Scripting and CRON TAB.
  • 48 months of experience and of IBM Content Manager on Demand application including IBM Content Manager OnDemand Administrator and Client
  • 84 months of experience in performance tuning applications interacting with DB2 Databases.
