As such, we are excited to keep this momentum going strong, and thus, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual Legal Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in communicating with our Spanish-Speaki ng clients.Position Overview:The Bilingual Legal Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks critical to the smooth operation of our firm, including:
- Case File Organization: Ensuring all case files are properly organized and documents are saved in the correct locations within our system.
- Medical Records Management: Obtaining and organizing medical records and bills and ensuring that we are not missing bills and records from any providers.
- Insurance Follow-Ups: Communicating with insurance adjusters to follow up on correspondence and case status.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Scheduling meetings with clients, adjusters, attorneys, and other key appointments.
- Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive support to case managers and attorneys.
- Team Player Duties: Serving as a back-up receptionist and assisting with other tasks as needed to contribute to the success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish to communicate with both English and Spanish speaking clients and translate for fellow colleagues who do not speak Spanish.
- Adaptability: A “can-do” attitude with the flexibility to assist wherever needed.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive work environment, even for assignments that are outside the normal job duties of a typical legal assistant position.

- Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required, including the ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-Speaking clients regarding medical and legal terminology is a mandatory for this position.
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal assistant role, preferably in a personal injury law firm.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and phases during pre-litigation.
- Proficiency in case management software (experience with Filevine is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
