Guirguis Law, P.A. is a faith-bases practice law firm that serves the whole person not just the
legal problem. Our firm is currently seeking a Family Law attorney to join our multicultural
team. We are looking for a sharp Family attorney who will zealously represent our clients in all
areas of family law. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating
prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and
child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues
such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure,
negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. If you are

 Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
 Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
 Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the
situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action
 Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements,
contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
 Communicate with other attorneys and paralegal to effectively move through the civil
litigation processQualifications:
 4-year degree with a legal background
 Must have worked on family law issues for at least 3-5 years
 Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case
 Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
 Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred
 Dependable and detailed oriented is a must.
 4-8 years of family law experience preferred
 Management and Litigation of Family Law cases, including child custody, support,
contempt, and equitable distribution.
 Drafting and filing of legal pleadings
 Discovery
 Meeting with clients
 Litigation experience required
 Duly licensed to practice law in North CarolinaBenefits offered to our full-time employees include:
