Description:

• Possess or be eligible for an Alaskan Type A teacher certificate with an endorsement in Industrial Arts or Vocational Education or Career & Technical Education or qualification to apply for a Type M certificate required.
• Experience teaching secondary (grades 7-12) students in woodshop, automotive and metals shop preferred.
• Experience or education in welding, woods, small engine repair and computer aided drafting and design is preferred.
• National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification preferred.
