Description: Assistant Principal –Glenwood Springs, ColoradoThe Roaring Fork School District is seeking applications for an experienced, self-directed, innovative leader to serve as the Assistant Principal for Riverview Dual Language School starting the 2023-24 school year. Riverview Dual Language School serves students PreK-8th grade.Ideal candidates will demonstrate significant skill and experience in:Implementing the vision, mission, values, expectations and goals of Riverview Dual Language SchoolKnowledge of dual language instruction and programming preferredKnowledge and leadership of special education programming preferredCreating trust and working collaboratively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environmentDeveloping and applying strategic plans, and employing data-driven analyses and decision-makingIdentifying and promoting effective instructional practicesApplying top-notch interpersonal skills, including public speaking, Spanish bilingual preferredRecruiting, hiring, coaching, and evaluating a wide range of personnelLeading a diverse school in the successful attainment of ambitious student achievement goalsUnderstanding and successfully closing student achievement gapsCreating an atmosphere that reflects student ownership of academic and character developmentParticipating as a team member while also leadingUnderstanding and leading the student success process (RtI, MTSS)Candidates should have experience as an educator in an elementary and/or middle school, as well as leadership experience. Requires the ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate license through CDE for the position of Assistant Principal.Pay Range$81,408 – $94,476 **Based on education and years of experience**Annual salary noted above is based on an 8 hour day (FTE 1) and full days worked calendar.
