College Interns employed in this class may be assigned to one of the County’s legal departments. Extra-help employees do not have rights to a regular position or continued employment and are excluded from civil service. Interns generally work up to 29 hours per week. Interns may work more than 29 hours per week, depending upon departmental assignment and budget. However, hours cannot exceed more than 999 hours in a fiscal year.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation:Graduate Level: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university within the past one year OR current enrollment in a post-Bachelor’s law school program.
