Description: The CounterParty Credit Risk Product Development team within the Institutional Credit Management Group (ICM) is looking for a Product Developer within the Counterparty Credit Risk space to focus on delivery of the Wholesale Credit Risk & Consent Order target state defined by Citi. ICM is a critical component of Citi’s first line of defense for Wholesale and Counterparty Credit Risk Management and works in conjunction with 1st and 2nd line Business and Technology teams to design and develop tools across an integrated “end-to-end” target state in alignment with Citi’s current transformation initiative.The Product Developer is a professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Responsibilities:
Qualifications:3-5 years of relevant experienceGeneral understanding of 1st LoD Markets products and processes (i.e: Credit Risk, Market Risk, etc.) and 2nd LoD Operational processes and the interaction between the two.General understanding of key markets and risk decision-making metrics (i.e.: PFE, RWA, EAD, Settlement Risk, Replacement Cost Risk, Limit Monitoring, etc.)Extensive excel data analysis skillsDirect experience in end-to-end project delivery, preferably in product development, and knowledge of various analytical/reporting tools including TableauAbility to build networks and relationships internally and externallyComfortable with performing data investigations that require a high degree of trend and data analysisAttention to detail and business process/analytic mindsetAbility to create business analysis, troubleshoot data quality issues, and conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis of business datasetsAbility to structure and break down problems, develop solutions, and to drive to resultsIntellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinkerProactively seeks and develops new opportunitiesFamiliarity with product development methodologiesof accuracy with tight timescalesProcess Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of contentAbility to collaborate and clearly communicate with team members of an organizationProject Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiativesGeneration of reports and presentations for managementEducation:
