Salary offer will be commensurate with the education/experience, in alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy, and the current CBA, if applicable.FLSA Status: ExemptGrant Funded: NoJob Summary:An employee in this classification enhances the educational environment by collaborating with faculty to optimize studio and lab spaces to ensure they meet instructional needs. This role involves establishing and maintaining an annual audit process to identify improvements and inform planning and budgeting. It requires coordination with various departments and external partners to address issues promptly. The position also supports faculty in integrating technology and equipment into their teaching, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and facilitating experiential learning opportunities for students. Supervising lab assistants and student workers is a key responsibility, along with maintaining accurate inventory records of instructional equipment and supplies. General direction is received by the assigned manager.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Bachelor’s degree in in a relevant field; such as visual and performing arts, educational administration or facilities management.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Master’s degree preferredPrior supervisory/management experience preferredEssential Duties: * Collaborate with faculty to optimize studio and lab instructional spaces to meet instructor and student needs. Implement and maintain annual studio/lab audit process to identify opportunities for improvement and inform division planning and budgeting.
