The GOC II position is a highly responsible position within the Bureau of Procurement & Contracting Services (BPCS) Contracts Team. The incumbent is responsible for job duties related to contracts and customer service as listed below.The Difference You Will Make:The Division of Administrative services provides centralized administrative support to the department and its employees. Within this Division, the Bureau of Procurement & Contracting Services (BPCS) Contracts Team provides support to the department’s programs by offering the following services. For a more complete list of benefits, visit www.mybenefits.myflorida.com.Pay: The annual salary range for this position will be $45,000.00-$50,000.08 based on experience.Your Specific Responsibilities:Contract Administration – Employee drafts, reviews, and processes contracts, amendments, change orders, renewals, and funding increment letters, in accordance with rules, statutes, regulatory authorities, and Department policies and enters all required documentation in the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System (FACTS) and OCULUS. Provides contract administration assistance and guidance to internal and external customers. Responsible for assisting the programs in the drafting and routing of contracts for execution. Serves as the sole point of contact and the procurement officer during the Request for Quote (RFQ) process for informal solicitations. Required to fill Department of Financial Services (DFS) document requests within a timely manner.Customer Service – Proactively identifies and meets the needs of all customers both internally (section, bureau, division, and agency) and externally (citizens, vendors, recipients, other agencies, etc.). Employee is expected to be prompt, responsive, solution oriented, helpful, cooperative, polite, respectful, and concerned for the customer at all times.Training – Responsible for developing and maintaining reference manuals, job aids, presentations, course materials and forms. Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and delivering training and providing subject matter expertise to attendees. Coordinates attendance and maintains training records for all internal and external training as assigned.Miscellaneous – Provides assistance on an as-needed basis to other sections within the Bureau of Procurement & Contract Services. Additional duties may include, but not limited to, accurately reviewing and processing MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) requisitions, assisting with bid opening at public meetings, etc. Will conduct organizational studies and evaluations on office procedures providing technical assistance and developing procedures to assist the Bureau of General Services operate more efficiently and effectively.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
