- Annually update the Employee Handbook
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to support the internal ecosystem of the organization
- Responsible for the orientation and onboarding of new staff
- Support the design and delivery of our rewards program, including assisting with annual benefit open enrollment, working with outside benefit vendors and analyzing trends in compensation and benefits
- Oversee the successful delivery of staff events, collaborate on staff engagement and appreciation initiatives
- Track and report out employee engagement metrics
- Refine, implement and maintain internal learning and development programs
- Play an active role in designing and implementing the next iteration of our performance management process, including facilitating annual salary review calendar
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment law and knowledge of Labor Laws, Unemployment Laws, All Regulations Regarding FFCRA, ARPA, FMLA, FLSA, etc
- Serve as the point person for resolution management, including termination and investigation
- Maintain Employee Records
- Wage Scale Analysis and Development
- Write/Create Job Descriptions
- Training and Development for Staff
- Processes benefits data through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Administrative support of performance review process
- Assists with recruiting by coordinating interview scheduling and basic candidate correspondence
- Performs clerical functions including filing and mailing / scanning documents
- Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned
- At least 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or HR degree
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to navigate shifting priorities with ease
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Desire to function with a true focus on internal client service
- Able to manage multiple, competing tasks while meeting deadlines
- Comfortable with change management and an agile approach towards day to day work and strategy
- Competent handling confidential or sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion
- Trustworthy, reliable and organized
