If you are excited about a role but don’t meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an ICT Test Engineer located in Austin, Texas.Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager the ICT Test Engineer role involves sustaining ICT test programs for a variety of customers in different industries (quality, etc.), and is responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.What a typical day looks like:

  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH Keysight 3070 In-Circuit Test applications.
  • Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
  • Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.
  • Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
  • Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
  • Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
  • Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
  • Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements

In-Circuit Testing (ICT) responsibilities:

  • Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
  • Develops or modifies test models.
  • Performs written evaluation of fault grade.
  • Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
  • Performs test ability evaluation (DFT).
  • Performs mechanical evaluation of test fixtures.
  • Coordinates 3rd part development of in-circuit programs, enhancements, and test fixtures.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6+ years of related experience supporting ICT testing in an electronic manufacturing environment.
  • ICT Keysight 3070 programming, troubleshooting and support experience.
  • Must have experience with Boundary scan (IEEE 1149).
  • Experience working with and presenting to a cross functional team, internal stakeholders and external customers/vendor engineers.
  • Experience working with Teradyne and Genrad ICT Testing Equipment (preferred).
  • Python, Perl scripting experience (preferred).
