Description: Teachers new to the district will be required to obtain the Alaska Reads endorsement within two years of hire.Job Summary: Instructs students in the appropriate district curriculum, creates a positive and effective learning environment for all students, and provides strong academic, social, physical and emotional growth for all students.Retirement: State of Alaska TRS
Bargaining Unit: Fairbanks Education Association (FEA)
Salary: Determined by the FEA Negotiated Agreement
Contract Length: Minimum of 184 daysJob Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position): * Bachelor’s degree

• Must possess or be able to obtain a State of Alaska Initial, Professional, or Master teaching certificate with endorsement in Elementary Education
• Meet all state and federal requirements to be qualified in required content area
