This role requires a deep love for classical languages and the liberal arts, as well as a strong foundation in Latin. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to introduce Ancient Greek to junior and senior students in the future, fostering a curriculum where students read and discuss classical texts in their original languages.Why Work with Us?

Duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Understand classical education and are aligned with the school’s mission.
• Elevate classroom learning to develop students’ sense of wonder and a love of learning.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and develop a culture of excellence.
• Work cooperatively with True North’s instructional coaches to learn from feedback and improve the quality of instruction.
• Communicate with parents regularly regarding all aspects of their child’s performance and make provisions for being available outside normal hours; work with parents to encourage participation in their child’s learning experiences.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university.
• Certification is not required to teach at True North.
• Candidates must be familiar with and align with the classical liberal arts curriculum and philosophy employed at True North Classical Academy.
• Candidates must see education as a vocation and are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for the success of all students.
