Description: Description:GlobalLogic is embarking on a multi-year digital transformation initiative aimed at delivering innovative solutions to enhance the customer experience and optimize operations across multiple business units. The Lead Architect will play a key role in shaping the technological strategy and execution of this transformative program. As the Lead Architect, you will provide technical leadership, guide the overall architecture, and ensure the successful implementation of a complex suite of initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and business stakeholders, to design and deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.This program spans multiple domains, from web and mobile application development to microservices-based architecture, data platform integration, and IoT. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that all technical components integrate seamlessly, with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.Key Initiatives and Technologies Involved:

  • Web Applications: Single-page applications (SPA) built using Angular 18 for internal users and customers.
  • Mobile Apps: Development of cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS.
  • Microservices based Business Services: Development using C# .NET within a microservices architecture, leveraging best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Data Platform & Integration: Integration with multiple data sources (SAP ERP, Salesforce, Tavant, Airlinx, IoT, etc.) into a centralized Snowflake data warehouse and leveraging Azure Data Factory for ETL processes.
  • Digital Twins & IoT: Implement and integrate Digital Twin technologies and IoT monitoring solutions for real-time asset tracking and predictive maintenance.
  • eCommerce & CPQ: Design and optimize Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions and eCommerce platforms for parts and equipment.
  • Remote Monitoring & Control of Equipment: Lead development of a Remote Command Center for real-time equipment monitoring and remote troubleshooting.

The starting base salary range for this role is estimated to be $130000 to 180000. This salary range is based on the role and is provided as a good-faith estimate. The amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations. #LI-AK2Requirements:Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in leading architecture design and implementation for large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying microservices architectures, particularly within the .NET ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Extensive experience with data platforms and ETL processes; proficiency with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and integrating with diverse data sources (ERP, CRM, IoT).
  • Hands-on experience with building and managing Angular-based SPA applications and mobile applications for Android and iOS.
  • Expertise in system integration across multiple platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, IoT, and custom applications).
  • Experience in designing eCommerce platforms, CPQ systems, and asset management systems.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of microservices and API-driven development.
  • Expertise in cloud security, performance optimization, and scalability.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to think strategically while addressing technical and business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with IoT solutions, Digital Twins, and predictive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with machine learning or AI applications in industrial environments.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of the overall architecture for the digital transformation program, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technology standards, and best practices.
  • Solution Design: Design complex systems leveraging microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies (Azure), data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Data Factory), and mobile/web applications (Angular, Android/iOS).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Cloud Infrastructure, and QA to drive a unified technical vision. Lead technical discussions and decisions across various aspects of the solution.
  • Platform Integration: Oversee integration of multiple data sources, such as SAP ERP, Salesforce, IoT platforms (Airlinx), and warranty management systems, into the data platform (Snowflake) and ensure seamless communication between systems.
  • Technical Strategy & Roadmap: Define the technical strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the broader business goals of the program and company.
  • Cloud and Microservices Expertise: Lead the design of a scalable microservices architecture with a focus on performance, high availability, and security. Ensure efficient deployment of services using Azure cloud services.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Champion the adoption of new technologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the program.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary technical liaison for all stakeholders, including executive leadership, business teams, and technical teams. Provide clear communication of technical risks, issues, and solutions.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects, engineers, and development teams. Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
