Reporting to the Senior Manager of US Policy and Government Affairs, the Government Affairs Manager will support our US public policy and government affairs efforts at the federal level, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to advance our policy objectives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.The Government Affairs Manager will oversee a specific portfolio of issues, including environmental policy and regulations, workforce development, tax and incentives policy, government-funded research and science and technology funding, and other domestic policy areas. Based on the legislative agenda and business needs, additional policy matters may be added or modified.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of government affairs strategies and initiatives.Monitor and analyze federal legislative and regulatory developments that impact the organization.Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.Coordinate and attend meetings with government officials, industry groups, and other stakeholders.Support the drafting and submission of regulatory filings and comments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align government affairs activities with business objectives.Conduct research on policy issues and provide recommendations to senior management.Required Skills And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related fieldMinimum of three years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related role.Strong understanding of the federal legislative and regulatory processExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and research skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with federal agencies that interact with the semiconductor industry or other technology industriesKnowledge of semiconductor industry-specific regulations and policiesAdvanced degree in a related fieldEducation Level: Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree preferred in law or international relations.Travel Required: Yes, 10% of the TimeFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce – Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State – Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
