Description: SummaryThe Student Media Webmaster is in charge of updating and maintaining the department’s official website: . The Student Media Webmaster will also oversee the department’s social media presence.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • In charge of maintaining the Department’s official website
  • Conduct website upgrades when necessary
  • Uploads the official PDFs of The Xavierite
  • Update the website on a regular basis with new content
  • Assure that no copyright laws are broken in the use of downloaded images, text, photos, videos, graphics, and other published materials to the website
  • Monitor site for content
  • Attend general staff meetings
  • Is a member of the Student Media Leadership Committee
  • Has experience utilizing WordPress for updating web content
  • Has general HTML coding knowledge and experience
  • Oversees the department’s social media presence and develops a strategy.
  • Maintains weekly posted office hours (5 hours per week)

QualificationsMUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
