Description: Position Summary:MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highly qualified Instructional Systems Developer, to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Implement a systematic design process for effective and efficient learning in accordance with (IAW) TRADOC Regulation 350-70.
  • Conduct analyses to identify and validate training requirements.
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning products for adult learners (Soldiers, civilians, and contractors) using current,

relevant, emerging, and approved Army doctrine. * Develop documents and publications supporting methods of training and training tasks.

  • Follow the current U.S. Army approved training database of record parameters to design and produce Program of Instruction (POIs) and Training Support Packages (TSPs).
  • Manage projects with respect to POIs involving graphic design, photo and video, programming, and publication.
  • Ensure approved POIs are correct, up to date, and if needed, recommend changes through the chain of command.
  • Communicate effectively to develop solid relationships with Military personnel, Civilians, and Contractors. The Contractor shall perform the planning process and coordinate the program with administrators.
  • Conduct analyses to identify and validate training requirements, and documents results of analyses.
  • Develop and recommend alternative training strategies for consideration of decision makers.
  • Evaluate learning and instruction using formative and summative evaluation techniques.
  • Design and operate a database system for maintaining assigned training systems hardware, software, and courseware operational and currency status.
  • Instruct and teach corporate and client personnel on procedures, processes, and methods of operating, maintaining, revising, and enhancing the assigned training system.
  • Fly on ARSOAC/DoD aircraft for the purpose of conducting task analysis, develop objectives, collect and validate content for courseware when required.
  • Record the following via video, digital photography, and notes: crew processes, procedures, coordination and interaction for use in lesson development.

Requirements:Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Systems, or Organizational Development. Bachelor’s degreemay be substituted for four years experience as an Instructional Systems Developer and 3 years experience as a military trainer/instructor.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint).
  • SECRET Clearance

The projected compensation range for this position is $63750 to $106250 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG’s total compensation package for employees.
