Description: **NEW SOFTWARE ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEXT GEN MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEMS FOR A TOP AEROSPACE & DEFENSE COMPANY!!!**JOB DESCRIPTION:Hiring a Software Developer for the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications. In this role you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing tools and scripts for the efficient analysis of test data. Your primary focus will be on automating and integrating these tools into the development CI/CD pipeline, thereby supporting the analytical needs.

• Collaborate with other analysts to develop and enhance analysis tools and scripts.
• Automatically process test data from different sources for efficient analysis.
• Enhance existing toolsets and scripts.
• Make recommendations for updates and introduce new tools and processing techniques.
• Integrate developed toolsets into the development CI/CD pipeline.
• Present analysis results in meaningful and useful formats to peers with diverse skills.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-9 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3-6 years of experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience in developing software applications and toolsets for processing and analyzing test data results.
• Familiarity with software development and systems engineering lifecycles.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or JAVA for data analysis.
• Experience in developing scripts and programs to assist with analysis.
• Experience in presenting analysis results to peers.
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, DOORS, C++, C, and Confluence.
• Ability to read and understand languages like C, C++, and/or Fortran.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Experience with project management tools such as DOORS, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience with MDBM and Command and Control systems.
• Knowledge of basic message formats such as TADIL-J.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $63.00 – $73.00
