Description: This position is open to anyone wishing to be added to the Snoqualmie Valley School District Paraeducator Substitute pool for the 2024/25 school year.

Successful applicants will be notified about the hiring process via email as soon as a completed application is submitted and electronic reference checks have been returned.Under the direction of the building administrator, the Paraeducator Substitute supervises and instructs individual and/or small groups of students under the supervision of a certificated teacher, supervises students in small and large group settings, and provides clerical support to staff. Employees in this classification will receive a variety of assignments including classroom support, clerical support, library support, lunchroom supervision, health room supervision, playground supervision, etc.Required: Eligible candidates must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.Paraeducator Substitute Hourly Rates for the 2024-25 school year: $22.30 – $26.28Benefit Eligibility:
*Snoqualmie Valley School District benefits are administered by the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) under the . Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more for SVSD in a school year, including substitute work, is eligible for benefits.
