We’re growing our team here in McLean, VA:Compensation: $32.45 / Hour
Schedule: Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends. Must be available to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off could vary and weekends are required. This is a flex schedule. Would not guarantee full time hours.About the job:

• Respond to incoming security concerns and track outcomes
• Monitor a wide network of security alarms and cameras to identify and resolve threats
• Synthesize large amounts of information quickly
• Create comprehensive records of security-related incidents
• Coordination of routine and critical incident communications
• Understand the proper use of security-related tools and procedures
• Escalate to supervisors when appropriate
• Implement security and access control procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience with customer service
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the security field
• Must have previous law enforcement or military experience
• Ability to multitask and synthesize large of amounts of information quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Have an active Armed DCJS
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check, online armed assessments, gun range assessment, drug and physical assessments, and various other trainings to be hired

Per contractual agreements with our clients, your professional background must include the minimum of the following in order to be hired:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED). Or a college degree/transcript
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive background screening and drug test screening process
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.

You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
